Turkey Spinach Meatballs

Oven baked and full of nutrition, these meatballs are a must try!


  • 2.5 Lbs Ground Turkey (Don't get one that is too low in fat, the meatballs will be dry)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Large onion diced
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 16 Ounces Organic Spinach
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/3 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 Tbls Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbls Olive Oil
  • 3/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with non stick foil and spray lightly with cooking spray to ensure no sticking. 

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and add onions and garlic, saute until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant. 

  3. Add salt, pepper, thyme, red pepper flakes and oregano. 

  4. Add spinach, worcestershire sauce and chicken broth. Cook until most of the liquid is evaporated. Any leftover liquid drain from pan. 

  5. Let onion and spinach mix cool. 

  6. Add Turkey, cheese, bread crumbs and egg to a bowl. Mix well. Once cool add spinach and onion. 

  7. Mix well with hands, then roll into meatballs around 1.5 inches diameter. I ended up with 40 meatballs. 

  8. Cook for approximately 20 minutes depending on your oven. Check internal temperature to make sure meatballs are cooked all the way through. They should be 160 degrees.
